Horses of Step (Approx. 3 Hours)
Considered the best saddle horse in the world, for being the smoothest horse. The rider neither jumps nor moves towards the sides: he remains almost immobile on the horse. This was achieved after 300 years of genetic selection work, thanks to the mixture of three races: the field, the Andalusian and the Frisian.
The Peruvian Paso Horse is known in the world for its way of walking to four times, which produce a very original sound: PACA-PACA-PACA. It can advance up to 27 km per hour. The saddle is very ornamented, highlighting the Sampedrano Pellón. The rider known as Chalán wears a straw hat or jipijapa, a white shirt and pants with a brown vicuña fiber poncho.
In Trujillo, the National Contest is celebrated on September 29 during the International Spring Festival. The Association of Breeders and Owners of Peruvian Step Horses, located on the Km. 569 avoidance road, offers a daily exhibition, at the following times: 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm.

ITINERARY:
We leave at 1:00 p.m. or 2:15 p.m. every day, the tour begins with the pick up of your accommodation from the city center, until you reach CASA CAMPO ALCOR, VICTOR LARCO, where we will visit the horse breeding sites of Step, then you will be delighted with a marinera show, you will also see the exhibition of step horses, and the show of sailors and dance of sailor Trujillana.
After the show we returned to the city of Trujillo with the group.
