Inca Trail To Machu Picchu (02 Days – 01 Night)
Short Inca Trail
The short Inca Trail is an excellent option for those who do not have enough time or prefer a gentle walk. We’ll start from Km 104, at a height of 2,100 m.a.s.l. where we will have a 16-km journey until arriving at the Citadel of “Machu Picchu”. On the way, you will have the possibility of visiting archaeological sites like WIÑAYHUAYNA, which means “always young”. We will be able to observe Inca constructions like ceremonial temples, irrigation canals and “Andean Terraces” that surround the whole mountain, inside a spectacular cloud forest between the beauty of the mountains and the lower valley with a semitropical climate. Then we’ll visit the Sun Gate or “INTI PUNKU”, where you will have a magical and unforgettable moment being at the top of the mountain where you can appreciate the sunset and observe the majestic “MACHU PICCHU” along with everything that nature represents in the Inca religion.
