Pachacamac Archaeological Tour
Pachacamac, 30 kms south of Lima, was formerly the most important religious place of the central coast of Peru that still maintains temples dating from four different periods of pre-inca and Inca history.
Itinerary
Pick up from your hotel and drive to Pachacamac. Upon arrival, we´ll visit the site museum where we´ll see, among other treasures, the exact replica of Pachacamac (The most important God in the central coast of Peru). After we´ll explore (hop on/hop off) the temple of Pachacamac, the painted temple, the temple of the Sun and other intriguing religious and administrative buildings. Next, we´ll go to Lurín town, only few more minutes apart, where we´ll visit an asociation of entrepreneurs called ICHIMAY WARI. This is a small organized community that offers travelers the posibility to appreciate their world class textile, and wooden traditional work through a guided visit plus an entertaining and even relaxing CLAY WORKSHOP where we´ll get creative and paint our own small piece of art that we´ll take home with us!!! We´ll share lunch with them too! Althoug not compulsory, this is unique ocassion to purchase a very authentic piece of peruvian art and craft.
