Itinerary (According To The Need Of The Tourist)
Pick-up from your hotel in our private transport to the different archeological centers of the SOUTH VALLEY. Our first visit point will be the archeological center of TIPON 27 km from Cusco with an altitude of 3,400 m.a.s.l. It was a temple dedicated to water. We might observe the great development of hydraulic engineering with ceremonial channels and irrigation canals as well as different floors of Inca terraces, where you will be filled with the energy of the Mountain God or “APU” as the PACHATUSAN (which means the one that maintains the world). Then our next stop is in the PIKILLACTA Citadel which means “Flea Village” because of the small stones with which they were built. It is located 30 km from the city of Cusco with an altitude of 3,300 m.a.s.l. It was the capital of WARI culture, a great pre-Inca civilization recognized for its extraordinary urban system in its citadels. You will also have magnificent views of the HUACARPAY lagoon located in the area. Finally, we will visit the church of ANDAHUYLILLAS 45 km from Cusco with an altitude of 3,121 m.a.s.l., it is the largest example of colonial religious architectural expression. It stands out for its refined and exquisite interior decoration. Also known as “The Sistine Chapel of America”, for its murals, Baroque altarpieces, and paintings of the Cusquenian School of the XVII century made of gold leaf. Then, we’ll return to Cusco to our respective hotels.
