The Sillar Route (Midday)
The Sillar Route: Sillar is the origin of the architecture of the White City and its tourist route takes place in the district of Cerro Colorado. In addition to the natural landscapes of the area, you can see the process of extraction, carving and mega-carving of the ashlar.

Pick up from the hotel and exit by the route to the quarries, 30 min of travel, Arrival at the quarries “Culebrillas”, where a circuit is made in the complex, a carver from Sillar shows us his work and how it is done, where You can also participate in the carving, El Sillar, volcanic lava was used by our ancestors to turn it into ashlar blocks and with them to build mansions and temples. Now the quarries from where this white material is extracted, we can also appreciate the natural landscape and the living culture and we will complement the visit with the beautiful view of the mega carving of the front of the church of the Company and different carvings that day by day the carvers work finishing this visit, we will see the petroglyphs in the quarry called Culebrillas.
