City Tour + Campiña
This interesting tour known as Arequipa Campiña, includes a visit to the most beautiful architectural monuments and natural viewpoints that surround the white city. Arequipa is a beautiful city that was founded by the Spanish in 1540 in a place specially chosen for its natural beauty and its cozy climate, located at 2300 meters above sea level. This beautiful city lies at the foot of the Misti, a gigantic, cone-shaped volcano measuring 5822 meters high. Known as the White City, Arequipa is made up of fine buildings from the colonial era and enjoys impressive natural landscapes.
Itinerary
Pick up from their respective hotels, to start with our tour of the white city.
We will start our city tour with a visit to the Plaza de Armas of Arequipa and its surroundings, with its three set of portals.
After visiting the city center we will go to the viewpoint of Carmen Alto where we will have a spectacular view of the Chili Valley, then visit the famous viewpoint of Yanahuara from where we will have a beautiful view of the city, then we will go to the Sachavaca viewpoint from there we will have a spectacular view of the three tutelary volcanoes of Arequipa and its countryside, continuing then for the tour-Arequipa 02 landscape road to the founder’s mansion, manor house of the sixteenth century, continuing on the road we go towards the Mills of Sabandia, nailed in the countryside of Arequipa; from there we will continue towards the old and typical district of Paucarpata, where we will appreciate a beautiful set of Inca and pre Inca terraces. Finally we will visit the Monastery of Santa Catalina, a beautiful and romantic sixteenth century citadel, in the pure style of different Spanish cities of the time (the Guide will be given inside the Monastery)
Return to the city and transfer to your hotels.
